Premium fast-food chicken brand Starbird is making moves in the metro area, announcing a second location coming to the state. Another store has been planned for Castle Rock, at 6360 Promenade Parkway, KDVR reports.

This news comes as the company eagerly awaits the grand opening of its flagship Colorado restaurant, which What Now Denver covered this spring. They will both be operated by franchisee Daniel Wagner of Whiplash Holdings. He will open a total of seven locations locally.

“Whiplash Holdings is proud to announce the opening of our next Starbird Chicken location in Castle Rock, marking another milestone in our Colorado expansion. As we continue building momentum across the Denver metro area, Castle Rock represents a key step in our multi-unit growth strategy. We’re excited to deliver a super-premium fast food experience to this market and further demonstrate the strength of the Starbird brand as we scale,” he told the publication.

A ten-year lease was signed for the site. Permits are in progress, and construction is expected to wrap up at the end of this year, with an opening planned for Q1 of 2026. At 2,543 square feet, the building will seat 50–55 guests and will have a staff count of 50–60 employees.
