Grabowski’s Pizzeria was a popular spot to grab a slice at The Source hotel for a number of years, but shut down operations there in May. But this week, Westword announced the business will be back at a new location: 13795 W Jewell Ave. in Lakewood.

The company first debuted at The Source in 2019, and was successful there but the business faced high rent, owner Jared Leonard told Westword. When the old Roca’s space became available, he jumped on the opportunity.

Leonard is from Chicago and serves Chi-town-style pizza with thin crust at Grabowski’s. He said about 75% of the business comes from take-out orders, and there will be plans to hire drivers to expand delivery services.

Other Colorado concepts by Leonard include Campfire, which has a number of Denver metro locations, and AJ’s Pit Bar-B-Q.
