SkinnyFATS, a unique restaurant offering fun and flavorful menu items, is headed to Denver.

SkinnyFATS first opened its doors in a small industrial park in Las Vegas, Nevada back in 2013. The restaurant now has several locations in Nevada and one in Utah, and plans to open its first Colorado restaurant in the Mile High City sometime this year.

According to QRS Magazine, Elevated Inc. in Colorado plans to open ten SkinnyFATS locations across the state.

SkinnyFATS prides itself on the details of the restaurant aesthetics and music, as well as the staff members on-site and the ingredients and presentation of the food.

SkinnyFATS includes two sides to the menu with Healthy and Happy options to satisfy everyone. Diners can sample healthy shareables such as CauliFIRE—cauliflower flavored with buffalo sauce, pico, and cilantro—and Tu-Nuts with Ahi Poke served in a cucumber boat with avocado, and more. Happy vegetarian shareables include fried pickles and spinach and corn risotto balls.

Sandwiches, burgers, wraps, and toasts are abundant. SkinnyFATS diners can try the Cranburkey, which is a turkey patty and more on a wheat bun or the Cherry Popper featuring a beef patty, fried egg, pepper jack cheese, spicy slaw, and pepper marmalade on a Hawaiian roll. A variety of salads, bowls, and tacos are also offered to satisfy hungry guests.

There is no word yet on an exact location or opening date for the first Denver restaurant, but the SkinnyFATS website states it will be coming soon!
