A new watering hole will be opening up in the Sunnyside neighborhood, at 2839 W 44th Ave., according to New Denizen. Named Semiprecious, it’s the latest project from well-established hospitality company Denco Family.

While the team behind the project did not return requests for comment and not many details about the venture are available online, a website for the business advertises it will be a neighborhood bar that’s open late, offering handcrafted cocktails and cold beers.

Leasing records show it is moving into a renovated building that was built in the 50’s and was originally a furniture showroom and offices. It’s a two-story property that appears to also currently have a cosmetic studio tenant.

Denco Family has built an impressive portfolio of businesses across various industries. They own nearly 50 Denny’s, Popeyes, and Subway franchise locations, operate two bars in Los Angeles (Thunderbolt and Night on Earth), and run several resorts under the Choice Hotels, Marriott, and Holiday Inn Express & Suites brands.
