Denver’s iconic Colfax Avenue is about to welcome a new player to its hospitality scene. The W is an upcoming venue that is shacking up at 5001 E Colfax Ave., according to its owner Carrie Wigglesworth.

Wigglesworth tells What Now Denver the establishment will offer craft cocktails, local beers, a superb wine list, burgers, charcuterie, appetizers, and more. The 12-tap tower will feature brews from noted Park Hill breweries, including Long Table Brewhouse, 4 Noses Brewing, and Station 26 Brewing.

At the helm will be General Manager Kevin Feldman, a nationally recognized mixologist with a string of accolades to his name. He has worked in bars all over, from Hawaii to California to Chicago.

The building, once home to The Elm, was sold by Little Pub Co. for $2.35 million three years ago, after purchasing it for $675,000 in 2004. It’s a busy property on the border of the Hale and South Park Hill neighborhoods.
