Ullrhof, Snowmass Village’s beloved mid-mountain dining spot, is in the midst of a full-scale rebuild that will transform the restaurant into a three-story, state-of-the-art property. The facility, located at 40 Carriage Way, won’t be open again until November of next year, according to the city.
Led by Aspen Skiing Company, the project received unanimous approval from the Snowmass Town Council last December, and construction started in May. It will remain closed during the 2025–2026 ski season.
The new 28,000-square-foot Ullrhof will replace the original 1969 structure, which seated about 325 guests. Once complete, capacity will grow to a maximum of 725 seats, approximately 450 indoors and 275 outdoors, Aspen Daily News writes.
Inside, the restaurant will feature a redesigned dining flow, with mobile ordering and pick up, but traditional service will still be available. A grab-and-go bar will occupy the third floor. When it reopens, it will once again serve up its signature American fare—burgers, soups, salads, hot dogs, fries, and shakes.
