Venalonzo’s Tacos, a beloved family-owned Mexican restaurant known for its exceptional quesabirrias, is expanding to a second location in Parker. The new spot will be located at 18951 Mainstreet, Unit A, according to city permits that were recently issued.
Documents from the city of Parker show that the business was approved for two permits: one for a $140,000 commercial remodel permit and another for a $10,000 plumbing permit from applicant Allen & Sons Plumbing and Heating. Instagram posts show they are also working with Terrina Reiber of Deay Studio Interior Designs.
While no opening date has been announced yet, co-owner Maria Venalonzo told What Now Denver that big meetings with the contractors happened last week. She is listed as the registered agent for the restaurant’s entity, Corazon De Maiz LLC.
Once open, the Parker location will serve a variety of favorites that have made its Centennial outpost so popular — even winning Denver Gazette’s Best Taco of 2024. The joint’s menu includes signature breakfast burritos, crispy quesabirria, tortas, a mochiburger, fried tilapia, wings, and a wide selection of Mexican street tacos.
