Weldwerks Brewing is on their way to opening up a second taproom at 3043 W. Pikes Peak Avenue. The building, covering around 1,300 square feet, has seen many businesses come and go over the years, with the most recent being The Dive.

“We’ll also add on a full restaurant to our taproom in Greeley,” said Director of Operations Jake Goodman when he spoke to What Now Denver on Monday. “It won’t have table service or be anything super fancy like that, but you’ll order your food at the bar and we’ll run it out to you.”

The upcoming location in Colorado Springs, however, will just be a taproom. “We may play with another food idea down the line, but not yet.”

The food in Greely will be chef-driven and an “elevated cuisine” and is titled The Annex.

While some things haven’t been finalized for the Colorado Springs taproom, Goodman says they’re hoping to have around 25 taps or so when they open.

“We’re just really excited to finally move toward opening in the Springs,” he said. “It’s been a three year project. There were unforeseen delays even before COVID, so it’s been a long time coming and we’re definitely excited to be there for the kind folks in Colorado Springs.”

The taproom is expected to be open by mid-2022.
