Westbound & Down is exploring the idea of adding a new Denver brewpub to its list of locations, according to Business Den. The news of possible expansion comes as the company undergoes crowdfunding efforts and goals to quadruple its production capacity.

Expecting to see massive growth in the next few years, the business outlines its target milestones on its website. Securing a Denver location is on the list of objectives for 2025, alongside increasing to an annual production rate of 8,000 barrels.

A spokesperson for Westbound & Down told What Now Denver that the team hasn’t identified any prospects just yet, but “hope to identify a Denver location in the near future” and are “keeping an eye out for any opportunities that pop up.”

The brand recently launched a $1.25 million crowdfunding campaign on the platform Dealmaker, and already has over 400 investors. While the company had initially hoped to raise the money by September, it could reach its goal months earlier, at the current rate.

All the capital raised will be reinvested to further grow the business, including helping with the taproom expansion and goals to increase production and distribution. Westbound & Down projects it can yield 20,000 barrels per year and reach $3 million in annual profit by 2028, and has plans to start selling wholesale in Arizona, Illinois, Oregon, California, Texas, and New York.
