Wild Taco will be closing one of its locations on August 10, it was reported by the Denver Post. But it’s not a sign of downsizing for the concept; it is relocating and reopening at Edgewater Public Market — 5505 W 20th Ave.

The owners of the eatery, Rico and Flor Aragon and Yoon Terry, chose not to renew the lease for its current space in Cap Hill. They opened that spot in 2022 at 215 E. Seventh Ave. Its second location in Berkley will remain open, and Wild Taco hopes it’s a quick transition over to the food hall.

In Edgewater, it will replace Carnivore Exotic Taqueria, another concept by Aragon. He also owns Barbed Wire Reef and the dessert/coffee shop Saints or Sinners there. Other popular concepts include Konjo Ethiopian Food, Arepas House, and Saigon Noodle Club — which What Now Denver teased in May.

The eatery has a fusion-style menu, combining the best of everything and putting a creative twist on traditional Mexican fare. There are cheeseburger tacos, chicken and waffle tacos, shrimp tacos, vegan options, and more — plus dessert.
