Denver is soon to say goodbye to one of its beloved fine art galleries. Mirada Fine Art Gallery has announced its upcoming closure in a social media post. But before the final goodbye, the gallery is holding a massive sale, offering some of its biggest discounts.
Mirada Fine Art Gallery to Close as Owners Retire
Named one of the top 25 fine art galleries in the U.S., Mirada Fine Art has become a staple of the region’s arts scene. Unfortunately, the art gallery’s chapter is now bidding farewell to its beloved community. The owners of the gallery have announced their retirement via social media.
For 16 years, Mirada Fine Art Gallery has built a name for itself. The owners have decided to retire and will permanently close the gallery. They don’t plan to sell the business and expect the gallery to close on December 24, 2025.
“After 16 years in business, Mirada Fine Art will be closing its doors!” reads the post. “It’s with mixed emotions and a sense of profound gratitude that we’re announcing our retirement and the closing of Mirada Fine Art.”
Owners Steve and Jenni Sonnen have shared their heartfelt gratitude for the community’s support. The message shared on social media also remembers all the artists that were showcased over the years.
“Although we look forward to an exciting new chapter for us, we’re also sad to say goodbye to a community that has become our second family. We are immensely proud of the artists we have showcased and the connections we have fostered.”

Closeout Sale to Offer the Biggest Discounts
As the gallery heads towards a bittersweet ending, Mirada Fine Art is holding its biggest sale yet. For every $1,000 spent, customers will receive $150 off any piece of art purchased. It marks the final opportunity for Denver art buyers to purchase pieces from the gallery.
The sale will continue until December 24, 2025, when the gallery closes its doors for the last time. Mirada Fine Art is also preparing to host its final holiday party. On November 29, 2025, take part in the gallery’s annual tradition from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Since the gallery opened in 2009, it has hosted a holiday party over Thanksgiving weekend. The event gives guests a break from the holiday rush with artwork, live music, light bites, and drinks. This year marks the last chance for visitors to experience the gallery’s long-running holiday tradition.
