Pilates-Based Workout Heading to Colorado

Solidcore provides members with intense, full-body workout.

Solidcore, a workout program that started in Washington, D.C. back in 2013, is heading west. According to a permit application recently filed with the city of Denver, the new health club will operate out of a spot at 817 Ash St.

There is no word on when the Ash Street studio will open, but according to Solidcore’s website, a Denver RiNo studio at 3650 Blake St., Denver, CO 80205 will open sometime this winter.

Solidcore provides members with a 50-minute workout delivering low impact, high intensity strength training. According to its website, Solidcore is “Pilates redefined.” The program touts an intense, full-body workout using slow and controlled movements. Various membership packages are available.

Anne Mahlum founded the fitness company nearly a decade ago, and it has grown to about 80 studios nationwide. Mahlum also founded the non-profit organization, Back on My Feet, which aids the homeless population.
