OHT Partners has broken ground on a 360-unit apartment community along Kingsland Boulevard in Katy. The yet-to-be-named project sits near Grand Parkway and I-10, surrounded by shopping, dining, and entertainment options.
Highlights

- The complex will be the 17th upscale apartment community of OHT Partners in Houston.
- The project will feature high-end amenities and smart technology.
European Farmhouse-Inspired Apartments Coming to Katy
The three-story complex will rise within the Katy Independent School District, home to top-performing campuses like Katy High School.
Nearby attractions include PopStroke, Andretti Indoor Karting, Costco, and H-E-B, offering residents convenient access to retail and recreation. The area’s ongoing growth and family-friendly amenities continue to draw professionals, employers, and new residents.
“The Katy area continues to experience tremendous apartment demand driven by top-tier schools, access to desirable retail, and proximity to growing employment,” said Jackson Simons, vice president of development for OHT Partners.
“This project will meet that demand in one of the area’s best locations with leading unit finishes and amenities while maintaining competitive rental pricing,” he added.
The design draws inspiration from European farmhouse architecture. The architecture will feature light brick exteriors, natural-toned interiors, and classic gabled rooflines.
High-End Amenities and Smart Home Tech
The upcoming project will feature a total of 360 units, comprising 246 one-bedroom and 114 two-bedroom houses. Units will range in size from 702 to 1,256 square feet.
Every apartment will be designed with high-end features. Features include French door refrigerators, quartz countertops, wood-style flooring, and built-in mudrooms. Additional in-unit amenities include Wi-Fi-enabled thermostats, front control ranges, brass hardware, and linen storage.
Community amenities will include a 24/7 fitness center, co-working lounge, and electric vehicle charging stations. The community will feature a pool with private cabanas and a pavilion. A fully equipped clubroom kitchen is also part of the development.
Additional highlights include a 7,800-square-foot dog park, pickleball court, package lockers, and community-wide Wi-Fi. The project is estimated to open its doors by mid-2027. Rental rates will be announced closer to the project’s mid-2027 debut.
The high-end project underscores Katy’s ongoing residential boom, offering a modern lifestyle designed for professionals and families alike.
