Adriatic Cafe Italian Grill is bringing its family-inspired recipes to Dickinson, marking the restaurant’s sixth location at 1804 FM 646 Rd Suite F from Co-Owners Alban Bulliq and Ekrem Hyseni—brothers-in-law and business partners.
“We’ve had a lot of guests who moved to the Dickinson area, and we saw potential because there was really no Italian in the area,” Bulliq told What Now Houston of the decision to expand into Dickinson. The duo opened their first Adriatic Cafe in 2012 in Jersey Village after years of working in the restaurant industry for others. Spotting a gap in local Italian offerings, the two set out to fill it with authentic, family-style dishes inspired by their own heritage.
Over the years, Adriatic Cafe has built a loyal customer base. This is partly due to its consistent value offerings such as lunch prices seven days a week, happy hour five days a week, and a popular “kids eat free” promotion every Monday. These efforts reflect the owners’ commitment to hospitality and affordability, values they’ve carried since their first opening.
With the Dickinson location in motion, Bulliq also confirmed that a seventh location is in the pipeline for Rosenberg, with construction expected to begin in the next two to three months. Their dream of owning their own restaurant and sharing their passion of food and family continues to only grow as they spread further in the Houston Metro, making the brand a go-to for Italian cuisine.
Bulliq and Hyseni are aiming for a June or July 2025 opening as they continue their mission to share comforting Italian cuisine across the Greater Houston area.
