Bussia Cucina Italiana is a new concept set to come to the Greater Houston area by early next year. According to a recently filed permit, Bussia Cucina Italiana is slated to open in the Shops at Arrive River Oaks at 2800 Kirby Dr., Unit B105.
The permit further details that construction on the $400,000 project is expected to start in July and wrap up by mid-January 2027. If all goes well with the permitting and construction of the 3,286 square-foot new eatery, Houstonians and visitors can rejoice about the opportunity to get to try out Bussia Cucina Italiana at the beginning of next year.
Houston restaurateur Fabrizio Paletta is listed as the owner of the new establishment. What Now Houston reached out to Paletta, but did not hear back by the time of this publication. Paletta bought Pane e Vino Ristorante Italiano with his wife, Lucy Ortiz, in 2017.
There is a bit of mystery surrounding Bussia Cucina Italiana. While there is a restaurant of the same name in Amsterdam, it is unknown if the two concepts are related.
Bussia Cucina Italiana has yet to build an online presence, so it is unknown what exactly the Italian eatery will serve. We suspect, based on the restaurants Paletta already runs, that customers will find authentic Italian food and possibly a nice wine list.
Bussia Cucina Italiana will open in the Shops at River Oaks Center in good company. The shopping center is also home to Eddie V’s Prime Seafood and Dr. Roth Plastic Surgery.
As we draw closer to the 2027 opening and excitement continues to mount around the Bussia Cucina Italiana opening, we’re sure more details will surface. So keep your eyes peeled and your ears perked for the latest.
