Domino’s Pizza is building a nearly 1,600 sqaure foot eatery in Katy. According to a recently filed permit, the new Greater Houston region Domino’s Pizza is expected to open in the Shops at Katy Lakes at 24919 FM-529 SUITE 200.
The permit further details that construction on the new Domino’s Pizza is planned for an August start and is slated to wrap up towards the end of October. If all goes well with the estimated $225,000 construction project and permitting, the new Domino’s Pizza should open by this fall.
At the helm of the opening is Lead Construction Project Manager for Domino’s Pizza, David Balfour, who was listed on the permit. What Now Houston reached out to Balfour to find out more details about the Greater Houston region expansion. But, unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication. What Now also reached out to Domino’s Pizza’s Chief Executive Officer, Russell Weiner, but we did not hear back by the time of this publication.

Domino’s Pizza currently has more than 22,300 locations cooking, slicing, and dishing out pizzas worldwide. In the US alone, there are more than 7,000 locations, with Texas having the highest number of stores. There are nearly 600 Domino’s Pizza locations in the Lone Star State, with more than a hundred in the Greater Houston region.
Menus do not vary by Domino’s location, and fans can expect the same pizzas, wings, breads, salads, and oven-baked sandwiches. More information is available on their website.
