Federal American Grill is planning a fifth Houston area location to share its scratch-made menu with diners. The restaurant’s next spot will open at 1221 McKinney St. in LyondellBasell Tower in Houston Center, according to a CultureMap Houston article. The downtown Federal American Grill could open to the public in the summer of 2023.

Founder Matt Brice first opened Federal American Grill in 2013. “The ‘we’ve never met a stranger’ feel to the front of the house combined with the American scratch cooking from the highest quality ingredients in the back of the house takes the dining experience to a whole new level,” stated the company’s website.

The restaurant menu features a variety of steak and seafood dishes among other options. Features include Roasted Half Chicken, Braised Short Rib, and Truffle Stuffed Shrimp, and you can also enjoy salads, soups, burgers, and sandwiches.

Extensive lists of both wine and whiskey, plus beer and cocktails provide diners with an ample selection to choose from while enjoying their meals. Dessert offerings include Bourbon Bread Pudding and Butter Cake among other options.

Federal American Grill recently branched out of the Lone Star State and is currently working on a location in Scottsdale, Arizona, as earlier reported by What Now Phoenix. According to a recent Federal American Grill Facebook post, construction on the Arizona restaurant is currently underway.
