Four Two Cafe is embarking on an exciting opening in Manvel. According to the brand’s website and a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation permit, the new coffee shop and play area is planned to debut in Manvel at 18909 Highway 6 within the Shops at Bluewater later this summer.
The permit further details that construction started in April and was slated to wrap up in July. The estimated $350,000 construction project included the construction of an existing one-story commercial building, to include all the fixings for a more than 3,000 square-foot cafe.
What Now Houston briefly spoke with co-owner Abdullah Tuffaha, who was listed on the permit. Tuffaha confirmed the upcoming opening and shared that the new family-friendly spot should be fully operational by the end of this summer. Unfortunately, Tuffaha and his team were unable to share further details by the time of this publication.
“We’re locals. We live here. We raise our families here. And we kept asking the same question: Where is the place that feels like us,” the Four Two Cafe website reads.
“Not just a coffee shop. Not just a play space. But somewhere bold, beautiful, and intentional — where you can sip something crafted, sit somewhere thoughtfully designed, and stay awhile. Four Two is our answer.”
Four Two Café is a community-focused hybrid coffee shop and family play space founded by local parents and professionals. The concept was born from a shared desire for a modern, aesthetically elevated neighborhood gathering place that seamlessly blends a high-end coffee and co-working atmosphere with an accommodating children’s play area.
“It’s the place you go for yourself — for the solo coffee reset, the mid-week work session, the long catch-up with a friend,” the brand’s website reads.
“And it’s the place you go for your family — where little ones are welcome, conversations linger, and no one feels out of place. We wanted warmth without chaos. Elevated without pretension. Community without compromise. So we created it.”
