Houston’s fast-food landscape is set to get a savory update as Church’s Chicken announces a new location at 5002 N Shepherd Dr, slated to open under the experienced wing of Franchisee Sukhwinder Singh. Known for his successful management of over 30 restaurants, including popular chains like Buffalo Wild Wings, Singh brings a wealth of industry knowledge to this new venture.
Encompassing a total area of 1,740 square feet, the new location is planned as a complete reconstruction effort. The scope of work includes demolishing the existing site and erecting a brand-new building, complete with necessary site work and parking facilities. The project is estimated at a substantial budget of $950,000. This initiative not only enhances the dining experience for Church’s Chicken fans but also contributes to the local economy by creating construction and service jobs.
Church’s Chicken, renowned for its hand-battered fried chicken, honey-butter biscuits, and home-style sides, has been a beloved name in the fast-food industry for decades. The addition of this new location in Houston is part of the company’s strategic expansion plan, aiming to strengthen its presence in key markets.
Singh’s involvement in this project is particularly noteworthy. His vast experience in managing multiple restaurant franchises gives him unique insights into the local food industry. His track record of success with brands like Buffalo Wild Wings suggests that this new Church’s Chicken location will not only meet but exceed the high standards expected by its future patrons.
