Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is continuing its Texas growth with a fresh addition on the way to Missouri City. According to a recent permit filing, the upcoming location is slated for 10411 SH 6 S and will be developed by franchisee group Lone Star Custard.

The project outlines a new construction build spanning approximately 2,800 square feet and carrying an estimated price tag of $1.6 million. Plans call for a full-scale Freddy’s experience, which typically includes indoor dining, a drive-thru, and the brand’s signature retro-inspired design.

Freddy’s has built a loyal following for its steakburgers cooked-to-order with crispy edges, shoestring fries, and rich frozen custard treats served in concretes, sundaes, and cones. The chain, originally founded in Wichita, Kansas, has steadily expanded across the country—and particularly throughout Texas, where the brand continues to find a welcoming fan base.

Construction is expected to begin in June 2025, with a projected completion date in December 2025.
