Jo’s Coffee is bringing its vibrant coffee culture to Houston Heights, with a new location headed for 1023 Studewood St, confirmed by Natalie Marchbanks, Officer of Hospitality Property Development at The Marchbanks Company.

Marchbanks explained that while Jo’s is operated by the Bunkhouse Management Group, the Houston location is independently owned by a group of local investors. “This particular location is owned by a group of investors, with the Marchbanks Company owning the controlling stake and leading the development process,” Marchbanks shared.

The development plan calls for a brand-new 1,208-square-foot coffee shop, with a cozy seating area, coffee bar, and restroom. The estimated $450,000 project will also see new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems installed, ensuring the space is as functional as it is stylish.

The project is set to kick off construction in October 2024 and is expected to wrap up by December. Known for its laid-back atmosphere and exceptional coffee, Jo’s will soon offer Houstonians a fresh place to sip and unwind.
