Marble Slab Creamery & Great American Cookie is set to delight dessert enthusiasts with two new combo locations in the Houston area, one at 10350 TX-242 #100, Conroe, TX 77385, and another at 33108 Magnolia Cir #200, Magnolia, TX 77354. The upcoming openings mark an exciting new chapter for Abid Marediya, who is stepping into his first Co-franchisee role alongside his father, Akbar Marediya, a veteran Franchisee with over 30 stores under his belt.
After spending time working in one of Akbar’s locations and stepping away for a career in tech, Abid has decided to return to the family business to help grow its footprint. Hitting the ground running, Abid told What Now Houston they already have three other locations in the works outside of these two as well.
The Conroe and Magnolia locations will each bring their unique appeal to the community. While the Conroe store will serve as a traditional setup, the Magnolia Circle location will feature a convenient drive-thru option, catering to busy customers seeking on-the-go treats.
This father-son collaboration signifies more than just business expansion; it is a testament to the value of passing down entrepreneurial knowledge. With Akbar’s seasoned expertise and Abid’s fresh perspective, the duo is poised to make their mark with this first partnership and beyond. Conroe and Magnolia’s locations of Marble Slab Creamery & Great American Cookie are expected to open sometime in Quarter 1 of 2025, with the additional three in the works set for late Quarter 4 of 2025 to early Quarter 1 of 2026.
