What once was a Slim Chickens in League City is getting a makeover. The space will now house a new seafood restaurant concept. Miru Seafood will be located at 2490 S. Gulf Freeway, League City, TX 77573.

Miru Seafood owner Andy Zhuo told What Now Houston they are working on a buildout of the space, but there have been some delays.

According to a state project filing, the space will be remodeled, and there will also be an addition to the 3,300-square-foot restaurant. No specifics were referenced regarding the addition to the space.

Zhuo said the restaurant will offer a variety of seafood dishes. “Hopefully, we can open in December.” Until then, League City diners could count the days until Miru Seafood opens its doors to offer its seafood menu, hopefully, before the end of 2022.
