Oakberry, a global acai bowl and smoothies brand, is planning a major expansion into the Texas market with the first locations set to pop up in Houston, Austin, and Dallas in 2026.
Texans should brace themselves for the rollout of an anticipated nearly hundred stores in areas near universities, fitness, and wellness hubs.
The Rand Group is partnering with Oakery to bring the Brazilian-born brand to the Lone Star State. What Now Houston reached out to Rand Group CFO, Rick Marshall, and VP, Heather Harris, for details about the expansion, but did not hear back by the time of this publication. We also reached out to Oakberry COO, Lenardo Gasparin, who also did not respond to our request for comment did relinquish some details about the Oakberry/Rand Group collaboration in a recent press release.
“As we continue our journey of expansion across the U.S., we’re committed to working with top-tier partners—and our partnership with Rand Group is a strong representation of that commitment,” Gasparin said in the press release.
“Together, we’re ensuring OAKBERRY locations are opening in the right places, at the right time, to best serve our consumers and communities in Texas.”
