Panda Express is preparing to expand its footprint with a brand-new location coming to 11740 South Fwy. According to permit filings, the project will be a ground-up construction of a 2,700-square-foot fast-food restaurant featuring a drive-thru. The estimated cost for the build is listed at $3 million.
With a drive-thru included in the design, the upcoming Panda Express will provide added convenience for those on the go, catering to both dine-in and takeout customers. The restaurant is expected to feature the brand’s well-known menu items, including favorites like Orange Chicken, Beijing Beef, and Honey Walnut Shrimp.
While further details regarding the project have yet to be disclosed, the new location is set to bring another convenient dining option to the area, continuing Panda Express’s strong presence in Houston’s fast-casual dining scene.
Construction on the new location is scheduled to begin in September 2025, with completion expected by February 2026.
