Piada Italian Street Food is preparing to open its first Pearland location, with plans underway for a full interior buildout at 11302 Broadway St, Suite 102 from The Piada Group. The project is listed on recent permitting records as a $350,000 renovation, signaling another step forward in the brand’s steady Texas expansion. Also according to the permit, the project will involve a full tenant finish-out of a 3,150-square-foot space.
Founded in Columbus, Ohio, Piada Italian Street Food has steadily expanded its footprint across the country by offering a modern take on classic Italian cuisine. The concept centers around fresh, made-to-order dishes inspired by the street food found in Italy, with a focus on high-quality ingredients and a customizable menu. Guests can choose from hand-rolled piadas—an Italian-style flatbread wrap—along with seasonal pasta bowls, chopped salads, and a variety of protein and veggie options. With an emphasis on scratch-made sauces, grilled meats, and vibrant produce, Piada sets itself apart in the fast-casual space by blending convenience with culinary craftsmanship in a bright, minimalist setting.
The upcoming Pearland location represents a calculated move to grow Piada’s presence in the Houston market, where the brand has already seen positive acceptance in nearby areas. The demand for diverse dining options make this new outpost a prime destination for the brand’s next chapter. Positioned in a busy retail corridor on Broadway Street, the new restaurant will aim to serve the lunch crowd and night and weekend diners alike who are looking for something quick yet elevated. This addition of Piada is expected to further diversify the area’s culinary offerings and reinforce the brand’s expansion efforts.
The work is set to begin in June 2025 with completion targeted for November 2025.
