Portillo’s Hot Dogs is expanding its footprint in Texas with a newly permitted location at 111 Farm to Market 1960 Bypass Rd E, Humble, TX 77338. Known for its iconic Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, and crinkle-cut fries, the quick-service giant is set to make a splash in the Humble area.

According to the permit details, the project represents a substantial investment of $5,000,000 for a 6,160-square-foot building that will feature both indoor and outdoor dining, a drive-thru, and multi-occupant restrooms. Plans also include site work for landscaping, signage, canopies, awnings, a trash enclosure, and parking lot light poles, aiming to create a welcoming and efficient dining environment.

A representative from Portillo’s was unable to comment further, as there was nothing they could share about this location at this time.

With its unique combination of classic American flavors and vibrant brand identity, Portillo’s continues to capture the hearts—and appetites—of diners nationwide. This upcoming location is anticipated to draw both loyal fans and curious newcomers eager to experience its celebrated menu offerings.

Humble’s growing culinary scene is sure to benefit from Portillo’s arrival, as the restaurant adds to the region’s diverse lineup of quick-service dining options. Residents can look forward to a bold new option for fast, flavorful meals when the project wraps up late next year.

The construction is expected to start in June 2025, with completion slated for November 2025.
