Texas Roadhouse is getting ready to welcome even more guests at its 13345 Farm to Market 1960 Rd W location in northwest Houston, thanks to a planned expansion that will add 709 square feet to its dining area. According to recently filed permits, the project is privately funded and will be built on private land for private use.
The scope of work includes building a new dining room extension, allowing the restaurant to increase its seating capacity by 56. That’s a notable boost for a restaurant already known for its long wait times and packed dinner rushes. While the company hasn’t publicly commented on the plans yet, the permit suggests the addition is focused solely on guest space, with no kitchen or back-of-house changes mentioned.
Estimated to cost $450,000, the addition speaks to the continued popularity of the brand in the region. This particular Texas Roadhouse sits near a high-traffic corridor and serves a growing residential and commercial community. An increase in seating could help reduce wait times during peak hours and improve overall flow in the front-of-house experience.
Construction is expected to begin in September 2025 with a project completion slated for December 2025.
