The Juicy Crab is continuing to pour its “juice” all over Texas. The popular seafood eatery is now embarking on opening a new location in Pasadena, which the brand has announced on its website. According to a comp report, The Juice Crab will open its newest addition to the brand at 4002 Spencer Highway near the Southeast Submarket.
While the comp report details that the lease term starts this March, that doesn’t mean The Juicy Crab will open at that time, but the new eatery will likely open this spring.
The Juicy Crab’s history stems from the Chen family’s love of the New Orleans-style cooking of seafood.
“Grandfather Chen was a sailor who traveled the world learning many different styles and ways of cooking seafood. One of the main influences that every family member loved was the New Orleans style of cooking seafood, and we want to share it with you,” The Juicy Crab LinkedIn reads.
Leo Chen is now at the helm of the booming seafood brand. What Now Houston reached out to Chen, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.
“We think you will agree that ‘Juicy Never Tasted So Good’ ™. The style and special blend of seasonings will have you coming back for more! We welcome you to sit at our family table and will always treat you like a part of our family,” the LinkedIn goes on to share.
The Juicy Crab’s first location and the first step toward the company it is today started with the opening of the first restaurant in Duluth, Georgia, in 2015. This location would be the first step on the path that has led The Juicy Crab to the more than 40 locations it has today. At least five of those locations are in the Greater Houston region.
The eatery offers up 12 different juicy combos with a plethora of seafood options, along with boiled eggs, corn, and potatoes. But if you don’t want the combo, don’t fret, you can still get one of their seafood dishes or fried seafood baskets. The Juicy Crab also offers a multitude of exciting appetizers, including fresh raw oysters, desserts, and sides. It appears there is something for every seafood lover at The Juicy Crab.
The Juicy Crab is expected to open its new Pasadena location at 4002 Spencer Highway near the Southeast Submarket early this year.
