The Kebab Shop is basking in the rays of community support after a recent successful opening in Sugar Land. The “New School” Mediterranean eatery is set to open three additional locations in the Greater Houston region over the coming months.
What Now Houston recently spoke with co-owner Fred Rajab about the upcoming openings in New Caney and Missouri City.
The Kebab Shop CMO, Wally Sadat, reached out to What Now Houston with the good news about the brand’s success and upcoming openings.
Sadat started The Kebab Shop with his brother-in-law in San Diego’s East Village in 2008. The family-owned fast-casual Mediterranean spot quickly grew to multiple California locations before expanding into Texas and Florida. That Texas expansion started with Austin in 2019.
There are now more than 50 of The Kebab Shop locations across California, Texas, and Florida, with the family owning and operating every restaurant themselves.
The Kebab Shop has an extensive menu, featuring everything from wraps and bowls to plates, salads, and fries, all with a Mediterranean twist.
The Kebab Shop expects to open its next shop in Bunker Hill this year.
