Primark will open a new store in Houston on July 16. The new store at Willowbrook Mall will become Primark’s seventh location in Texas and second in the Greater Houston area.
Primark to Open Seventh Texas Store at Willowbrook Mall
The Willowbrook Mall opening follows the recent debut of Primark at The Parks Mall at Arlington. The retailer will also open its first Indiana store at Castleton Square Mall in Indianapolis on July 23, bringing its U.S. store count to 44.
Each of the new stores will be nearly 30,000 square feet. Primark US President Kevin Tulip said the company is excited to grow in Texas and enter Indiana for the first time.
“We know that Primark’s offering of quality fashion at exceptional value is more important than ever to today’s consumers, and we’re looking forward to opening our doors and welcoming customers in Houston and Indianapolis.”
Primark was established in Ireland in 1969. The retailer operates more than 480 stores across 19 countries in Europe, the U.S., and the Middle East. It employs more than 80,000 people.
What Shoppers Can Expect
The store will offer Primark’s affordable selection of fashion, accessories, beauty products, home items, and daily necessities. Shoppers can expect a wide selection of trend-led apparel and everyday essentials.
The assortment includes products for summer travel and the back-to-school season. Shoppers will find women’s denim from $12, men’s T-shirts from $5, and children’s sweatshirts from $8.
The store will also feature licensed products for popular local sports teams, including the Texans, Cowboys, Rockets, and Spurs. Customers can browse products before coming into the store.
