According to recent public records, the new Calico Cactus brand will soon find a home in Murray Hill.

Scott Moore’s newest establishment is currently in the permitting process to replace the former Maple Street Biscuit Co. at 1171 Edgewood Ave. S.

Moore opened the first Calico Cactus in January 2025 at 833 S. Ponce de Leon Blvd. (a former Tijuana Flats) along the San Sebastian River in St. Augustine.

“Start your day right at Calico Cactus, where the cozy, southwestern-inspired atmosphere meets St. Augustine’s charm,” the official website states.

“Whether you’re craving classic breakfast tacos or a twist on the traditional, you can’t go wrong with their breakfast or lunch tacos. Stuffed with scrambled eggs, bacon, and fresh salsa, these tacos are a perfect, flavorful way to kick off your morning!”
