According to recent reporting in The Business Journal, a popular downtown St. Augustine destination for seafood will soon debut a new look and expanded seating.

Catch 27, located at 40 Charlotte St, has recently completed a major renovation which has doubled seating and significantly improved its existing space.

“This is a project that we’ve been dreaming about for years,” Co-owner Stephen Hutson said in a release. “We had a vision for how we could use the second floor, which to this point had been underutilized.”

“We’re so pleased with the results. The renovation more than doubled our seating capacity and added a really great events space, while retaining the intimate and welcoming vibe we’re known for,” Hutson said.

“At Catch 27, we’re all about embracing love, fostering friendships, and creating memorable moments. Whether it’s an intimate gathering or a special celebration, our venue offers the perfect setting for any occasion,” the official website states.

“For those seeking a blend of intimate and casual dining, look no further than our private dining at Catch 27. From rehearsal dinners to corporate events, bachelorette parties to holiday celebrations, our inviting spaces cater to a variety of occasions.”

“No matter the size of your group, we welcome everyone from intimate gatherings of 10 up to full buyouts accommodating up to 70 guests. Our dedicated team is committed to collaborating with you in curating a tailored selection of premium culinary offerings and beverages. All you need to bring is your gracious presence and an appetite primed for satisfaction.”
