Cinotti’s Bakery and Sandwich Shop, a local eatery creating top-quality baked goods since 1936, is working on a new location in LaVilla at 100 LaVilla Center Drive.

The company’s second site has been proposed to replace Crazy Beans Coffee on the first floor of Jacksonville Regional Transportation Center, along with Grounds of GRACE, according to Jacksonville Daily Record. The two businesses received a 4-0 vote from the Jacksonville Transportation Authority board at the beginning of the month, authorizing JTA staff to negotiate a lease agreement. There is no timeline for these openings, but they will both be open to the public.

While Cinotti’s Bakery has been around for quite some time, the company only has one brick-and-mortar at 1523 Penman Road in Jacksonville Beach. While Grounds of GRACE will provide coffee and other drink options, the bakery will have everything from cookies, cakes, donuts, pastries, pies, cupcakes, and more. The two businesses hope to secure a three-year agreement with an optional three-year renewal in the 1,271-square-foot space. While this will be the first time Cinotti’s Bamery and Grounds of GRACE work together, it’s a match made in heaven, considering both are heavily influenced by religion.

“We are a hard-working family, and we seek to honor God with all that we do in our establishment, trusting that God’s hands are upon it,” according to the company’s website. “Our bakery is a safe place for any member of the family at all times and will promote such things through actions and everyday lives. We will not do anything to jeopardize our testimonies or our relationships with God. Today, our business has grown in ways none of us could have imagined. We are very grateful to all of you who continue to support us in our craft.”
