Equipment was not properly maintained at Smoking Pig BBQ. Chemicals were found in the food prep area of the barbecue facility. Additionally, food contact surfaces were dirty and not sanitized.

Food inspectors of the SNHD further expressed concern about the unavailability of the PIC during the health inspection. Labels on food containers and food handlers’ certificates were also missing at Smoking Pig BBQ.

The Las Vegas-based barbecue food establishment will have to undertake corrective action based on the violations noted by the SNHD. Although no date has been specified, the redressal of the above-mentioned violations can help Smoking Pig BBQ do better in the follow-up inspection.
