Henderson will soon be home to a second outpost of Las Vegas local restaurant Delhi Indian Cuisine.

“We’re really focused on serving our Henderson and South Las Vegas customers,” owner Krishna Khatiwada told What Now Las Vegas in a Friday afternoon phone call.

Delhi serves a wide menu of Indian and Nepali dishes. Offerings from the tandoor (clay oven) include Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Seekh Kebab (ground lamb flavored with herbs & spices, with mint and tamarind chutney), and Rack of Lamb. Curries like korma, vindaloo, and tikka masala are available with proteins including chicken, lamb, goat, shrimp, and fish.

The list of meat-based entrees is considerable, with other examples including Chicken Saag, Lamb Sakuti (“goan style lamb curry consisting of coconut and Kashmiri red chili”), and Fish Jalfrezi (“fish cooked with tangy spicy tomato base gravy with onion and bell-pepper”).

The restaurant also offers many vegetarian options based around mixed vegetables, paneer, and lentils. Vegetarian guests can choose from mouth-watering dishes like Hyderabadi Sahi Vegetable (“A Great south Indian Style curry with mix vegetables, Cashew and touch of Cream in a tomato Base Gravy sauce”), Malai Kofta (vegetable balls with paneer, cashew, and seasonings in a creamy gravy), and Dal Makhni (well-cooked black lentils, tomato base gravy with cream & butter). A large number of purely plant-based dishes are available for vegan guests as well.

The new location will offer a lunch buffet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., seven days a week, Khatiwada said, with a la carte dishes served for dinner starting at 3.
