After a years-long process that included name changes and changing hands, Fontainebleau Las Vegas is working towards completion and is expected to open toward the end of 2023. Accordingly, food and beverage news related to the resort has begun to roll out. What Now Las Vegas recently reported on La Côte, a French-Mediterranean restaurant that will open in the upcoming resort after proven success in its sister resort, Fontainebleau Miami Beach.
Another food/drink concept destined for Fontainebleau Las Vegas seems to have revealed itself this week in the form of building permit paperwork submitted to Clark County. Named “Mezcal,” the project is described in the paperwork as a bar venue. The budget for construction is estimated at a considerable $4,000,052.
What Now Las Vegas reached out to representatives of Fontainebleau Las Vegas on Wednesday. The representatives declined to comment.
Construction on Fontainebleau Las Vegas is well underway now after an eventful series of years during which it underwent a temporary rebrand as The Drew and was acquired again by its original developer, in partnership with Koch Real Estate Investments.
