A vibrant tea and bakery shop is permanently closing its Chinatown Las Vegas location. Mama Chai’s announced the closure on social media. Customers can visit the shop’s Korean convenience store concept to enjoy Mama Chai’s signature beverages.

Mama Chai’s Bids Farewell to Las Vegas

Mama Chai’s is a local favorite tea and bakery shop located in the heart of Las Vegas’ Chinatown. The shop built its reputation by focusing on organic and premium ingredients.

All the drinks are freshly made with house-made milks and no artificial flavors. The menu includes boba tea, 24-hour cold brew teas, matcha, and more. Along with that, it also offers gluten-free mochi donuts and other innovative dessert options.

In an Instagram post announcing the closure, the team thanked customers and shared a farewell message. The team wrote, “After all the sweet memories, it’s time to say goodbye to Mama Chai’s Las Vegas.”

Mama Chai’s has set Sunday, August 30, 2026, as its final day of service. The team behind the shop encouraged the community to visit and “grab your favorites and enjoy one more Mama Chai’s moment.”

The team did not share any official reason for its sudden closure decision.

About the Tea and Bakery Shop

Founded by Jenny Chai, the shop began its journey in 2023, according to a report from the Neon.reviewjournal. The shop became popular in a short span of time with its simple and innovative drink menu. It offers a calm, aesthetic, and welcoming atmosphere and has become a staple for the new generation. The space offers both indoor and outdoor seating to socialize comfortably.

Mama Chai’s opened in the former space of Tea of Joy.

While the 4240 Spring Mountain Road location is closing, the Mama Chai’s story will continue with its convenience store location. K-Mart by Mama Chai’s will remain open and continue serving the brand’s signature beverages.

In the post, the team thanked the Las Vegas community for the love and support. Even though short-lived, the shop has made a lasting impression on the community.
