News broke of a new hookah spot headed to Pioneer Square late last year, when permit paperwork showed plans for Glow Hookah Lounge, a hookah spot offering pre-made snacks, wine, and draft and bottled beer at 3375 S Decatur Blvd.

News on the front has been dormant since, but Clark County’s issuing of a work permit for the space, which occupies Suite 24, indicates that Glow is still on its way, coming soon to the business center, which is situated on the southwestern corner of the intersection between S Decatur Blvd and W Desert Inn Rd.

What Now was unable to reach owner Temesgen Tesfatsion for more details on Tuesday. Glow’s opening date remains unknown for now.

Pioneer Square is home to local businesses like Family Karate Tae Kwon Do and Deep Smoke Shop, plus restaurants like Salvadoran eatery El Carbonero Restaurant and Pupuseria and Korean restaurant Moobongri Soondae Las Vegas.
