Alinea has been universally praised, garnering James Beard Awards and a coveted Michelin 3-star rating. After celebrating 20 years of service, the Alinea group is now embarking on bringing the East Coast eatery to the Las Vegas Strip for a spell.
According to the Review Journal‘s Neon blog, Alinea is set to take up residency at the Michael Mina restaurant in the Bellagio at 3600 S Las Vegas Blvd. from April 16 to May 31.
The brand is run by chef and co-founder, Grant Achatz, and the Alinea Group Co-Owner and CEO, Jason Weingarten. What Now Las Vegas reached out to Weingarten to try to gather more details about the upcoming opening, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.
Las Vegas is the final stop on Alinea’s 20th anniversary residency tour. The brand took up residences in Brooklyn, Miami Beach, Beverly Hills, Tokyo, and Big Sky, Montana, before embarking on its last leg of the tour towards Sin City.
“In celebration of two decades of culinary excellence, Chef Grant Achatz and the Alinea team make a special, and final anniversary tour stop at Bellagio Las Vegas to present… Alinea Las Vegas,” the booking announcement for the residency in Las Vegas reads.
“A multi-sensory experience celebrating the imagination and innovation of the last 20 years and the future to come. Given the nature of this menu, arriving more than 10 minutes late to your booking may result in an abbreviated experience.”
Known for offering three dining experiences at its Chicago location, including The Kitchen Table, The Gallery, and The Salon, Alinea is expected to bring a unique experience to the Valley.
At the Bellagio residency, chef Achatz is said to intend to work with the local chefs to create dishes that define Alinea’s spirit and the taste palate of Vegas.
The Alinea pop-up at the Michael Mina restaurant in the Bellagio at 3600 S Las Vegas Blvd. runs from April 16 to May 31. Find more details here.
