A new Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii is preparing to open at 2300 E Lake Mead Blvd in North Las Vegas. It’s the first of three locations planned by first-time franchisees Sharlyn and Grant Vermillion.
What Now confirmed the news with Grant Vermillion on Friday. Vermillion said the choice of Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii was a clear one, as the goal was always to build relationships with the community with a variety of events and partnerships.
“As a coach and educator, I’ve always been passionate about creating opportunities for young people in our community,” Vermillion expounded in an announcement quoted in coverage by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “Opening this new Bad Ass Coffee location allows us to not only serve great coffee, but also build a gathering place that supports local families and give back in meaningful ways,” including events and fundraisers to benefit young athletes.
Opening in the retail center at the northwest corner of the Civic Center Drive intersection, the new Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii will join a food and drink community that includes MB China Restaurant, Fresh Donuts, Denny’s, and El Pollo Loco.
“The expansive Bad Ass menu features hot and iced coffees (including 100 percent Kona), cold brews (including a nitro version), more than a dozen lattes, hot and iced tea drinks, ‘koolers,’ lemonade and smoothies,” says the RJ coverage. “Twisted malasadas and other baked goods, plus breakfast and lunch sandwiches built with King’s Hawaiian rolls, make an appearance, too.”
