Beat House Camp is rolling into the Valley with a whole lot of Memphis smoke. The new food truck is set to serve the Southwest Vegas region. A city permit for Beat House Camp lists Danny Ellis as the owner, who confirmed that the food truck would be up and running by the spring.
What Now Las Vegas spoke with Ellis about the forthcoming opening. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, which could be considered the Barbecue Capitol of the World.
“We’re going to have to bring some of that flavor to the Valley,” Ellis said.
“We call it the ‘greedy pig’ you’re not ready to eat, you’re not ready to feast.”
Beat House Camp plans to offer a whole lot to feast on. Ellis shared that the menu will include brisket, ribs, and catfish sandwiches, to name a few. The look and feel of the new food truck will resemble what Ellis remembers from good eats and good vibes back home.
“We’re trying to serve off the grill,” Ellis said.
“It’s a food truck with some grills around it. Country vibes.”
Beat House Camp is intended to host a cafe-style barbecue experience, and it just might be a one-of-a-kind experience for Nevada residents and visitors.
“I’m excited to bring a whole lot of families together, people together. A whole lot of communion,” Ellis said.
While there is no online presence for Beat House Camp just yet, with no website or social media pages, we’re sure you’ll hear and quite possibly smell this eatery coming. Plus, Ellis shared that he’s working on getting the Beat House Camp online presence up and running.
Beat House Camp is slated to start roaming the streets of Southwest Vegas by this Spring.
