A new boutique hotel is opening in Downtown Las Vegas this summer. Featuring 33 “playfully-designed” rooms, Bent Inn Las Vegas will open at 207 N 11th Street, just steps away from the Fremont Street Experience.
Bent Inn is being developed by Escape Resorts, Inc., owned and operated by longtime hoteliers Mark Hunter and Greg Kafka. Hunter and Kafka have previously owned and operated two resorts—Escape and Desert Paradise—in Palm Springs, California.
“Creatively twisted — and definitely different — Bent Inn is a locally owned and operated boutique hotel and gastropub in resurgent downtown Las Vegas,” read press materials provided to What Now by Mark Hunter. “The gastropub, with seating for 50 inside and seasonal outdoor dining, will offer a Bent perspective to traditional gastropub fare, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with an expanded shareables menu.”
Originally developed as the small Moonlight Motel in 1965, the building at 207 N 11th St. served for some time as an apartment complex. It will now be reimagined with a “mid-century meets industrial architectural style,” says the press release. “Artistic features throughout will vary from original wall murals to posters of pulp fiction of the ‘50’s-’60’s offering an attitude of flamboyance and mischievousness.”
