Buddy Valastro, the “Cake Boss” behind Carlo’s Bakery, The Boss Cafe by Buddy Valastro at the LINQ, and Buddy V’s Ristorante at the Venetian, appears to be at work on another restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip. Building permit paperwork submitted to Clark County shows a restaurant project called Buddy V’s Pizzeria planned for Caesars Palace, giving a contract valuation of nearly $1.2 million for the work.

The Buddy V page on BuddyVsRestaurants.com tells the story of Buddy Valastro’s rise to Cake Boss superstardom, stretching back to the journey of his father and grandfather, both of whom were bakers in Sicily.

“I found my dream job and passion when I was 11 – and I still have it,” says Valastro in the site’s bio. “I love what I do and I am good at it, which makes me incredibly lucky and blessed.”

What Now reached out to Valastro on Wednesday to inquire about plans for Buddy V’s Pizzeria. Valastro declined to comment on the subject of a new project at Caesars Palace at this time.
