The sixth Las Vegas location of The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, a chain of Greek restaurants active in twelve states, has been given the go-ahead for construction. A permit was recently issued by Clark County for construction in suite 100 at 2340 S Nellis Blvd.
“Our desire is to grow the brand to twelve locations in the Las Vegas Valley,” owner Nick Della Penna told What Now Las Vegas back in January. “We’re continuing to look for new locations. We’re a little over halfway there.”
Another Las Vegas location is also planned at The Bend in southwest Las Vegas.
The Great Greek’s menu opens with appetizers like Hummus, Melitzanosalata (roasted eggplant puree with garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice) and stuffed grape leaves. It continues with familiar favorites like a Greek Salad, a gyro with lamb and beef or grilled chicken, and souvlaki (skewers of chicken, steak, lamb, or shrimp), and then with entrees like the Gyro Plate and the Falafel Plate. For dessert: Baklava, Mom’s Rice Pudding, and Kourabiedes Cookies. A kids’ menu is also available featuring a Grilled Cheese Pita, Chicken Fingers, and other child-safe dishes.
Stay tuned for updates as this popular brand works toward its goal of twelve Las Vegas locations.
