Sandhill Square, the retail center on the southeast corner of the intersection between South Sandhill Road and East Flamingo Road, is adding a traditional Cuban cafe to its restaurant roster. Cafe Havana will open there soon, at 4130 S Sandhill Road, Suite A-17-18, according to licensing paperwork submitted to Clark County.

What Now confirmed the news with a representative of Cafe Havana on Friday.

“We’re going to have pork sandwiches, tropical-flavored milkshakes, and authentic Cuban coffee,” the representative said, listing only a handful of items from a menu that includes a variety of coffee drinks, Pan con lechon, Sandwich Chubano, Hot Cheetos con Queso, Nachos, Chicharrones Preparados, and much more. Cafe Havana will also sell cigars.

“There will be 18 seats and two very typical games played in Cuba: Dominoes and Parcheesi.”

Opening at Sandhill Square, Cafe Havana will join restaurants like Pho Bistro, Gorditas Betancourt, and Starbucks.
