The 4D Commissary on Dean Martin Drive will soon be home to Empanadas_702, a new caterer and delivery-based restaurant.
Owner Omar Falbi confirmed the news in a Monday afternoon phone call with What Now Las Vegas. Citing the uncertainties of an upcoming restaurant undergoing the licensure process, Falbi preferred not to comment in detail on the restaurant’s menu and hours of operation.
The restaurant’s Instagram page showcases photos of empanadas varieties including chicken, beef, ham & cheese, and vegetarian, describing them as fresh and preservatives-free. Empanadas_702’s opening date is unknown at this time.
4D Commissary is a Las Vegas-based shared kitchen with five locations in the city, where restaurateurs and chefs access to ready-to-go, fully-equipped and permitted single-user kitchens.
Virtual kitchens—also known as cloud kitchens or ghost kitchens—are cooking spaces without dine-in options. It’s a model that, while not being new, has taken off during the COVID-19 pandemic, with its shift from dine-in to delivery-based food service.
The location at 4255 Dean Martin Drive neighbors Tommy Rocker’s Mojave Beach Bar and Grill, Houston’s Hot Chicken, and Royalty Exotic Car Rentals.
