Tao Group Hospitality announced Thursday that it is partnering with Caesars Entertainment and Chef Chris Santos to open Stanton Social Prime, a reinvigoration of Santos’s iconic restaurant, Stanton Social, which made its name in New York City’s Lower East Side, where it operated for 15 years before closing in 2018.
Opening at Caesars this winter, Stanton Social Prime will feature some of the menu items that made Stanton Social famous, including, according to a recent press release, “spectacular shareable dishes featuring prime meats.”
“Chef Chris Santos continues to redefine the dining scene with his creative cuisine and innovative dishes,” Sean McBurney, Regional President of Caesars Entertainment, said in the press release. “We are eager to continue our partnership with Tao Group Hospitality and welcome Stanton Social Prime to our culinary empire at Caesars Palace.”
Stanton Social Prime will occupy the former Searsucker space, next to Omnia Night Club. Eater Las Vegas predicts the return of such dramatic items as French Onion Soup Dumplings and “Philly Cheesesteak” Truffle & Goat Cheese Fondue. Other new dishes are to be expected as well.
“We are thrilled to build on our existing relationship with Caesars Entertainment while delivering another Tao Group Hospitality dining destination from Chef Chris Santos to Las Vegas,” said Jason Strauss, Co-CEO of Tao Group Hospitality.
