China Mama is continuing its expansion throughout the Valley, extending its services to Summerlin and Henderson. A city permit shows that China Mama will be opening in Summerlin at 2233 N. Rampart Blvd. But, that’s not all, The Review Journal’s Neon outlet reports that China Mama has a second opening planned, a location in Henderson, set to open at 2550 St. Rose Parkway, Suite 120.
The latter is expected to be open by this summer. No word just yet on when the Summerlin location will be opened, but the N. Rampart Blvd. eatery is already listed as coming soon on the China Mama website.
What Now Las Vegas attempted to reach out to owner Ivy Ma and general manager Alex Lin, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.
“A contemporary Chinese fusion restaurant with a modern reinterpretation of traditional flavors, ChinaMama offers a high-caliber dining experience through attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere,” the China Mama website shares details about the concept.
“The menu is a fusion of Chinese culinary traditions and global influences, with dishes that are boldly innovative and surprising. Signature dishes include crispy beef, soup dumplings, crispy duck, and crispy pan-fried pork buns. Each dish offers an innovative twist on authentic Chinese flavors, making every bite a new discovery.”
There are already six China Mama locations throughout the Valley. The established local favorite has been a part of the Greater Las Vegas community for more than 15 years and has experienced substantial growth since Ma took it over in 2017.
The brand has experienced a few bumps and bruises along its growth path. The original China Mama Chinatown location on Jones and Spring Mountain was forced to close in March 2023 due to a fire, but reopened early last year.
Now the brand is embarking on not one but two openings expected to come this year!
China Mama is expected to open in Summerlin at 2233 N. Rampart Blvd. this year, and in Henderson at 2550 St. Rose Parkway, Suite 120, by May or June.
