With locations in Philadelphia, in Denver, in Monterey Park, California, and elsewhere, hot pot chain Chubby Cattle is preparing to expand its Las Vegas footprint with a second location in its home city. Recently submitted licensing paperwork shows Chubby Cattle opening at 4525 Spring Mountain Road, on the southeast corner of the intersection with South Stober Boulevard.
What Now reached out on Monday to Chubby Cattle founder Haibin Yang, who confirmed the existence of an upcoming second Las Vegas location featuring the same menu as the first. Yang declined to comment further, however, and did not confirm the address given in the submitted paperwork.
“As a reformer of the traditional Mongolia cuisine, Chubby Cattle is the first restaurant in the world providing refrigerated conveyer belt-based hotpot with the finest traditional hotpot from Asia,” reads the brand’s website. “The goal with this innovation is to provide our customers with the healthiest way to enjoy our fresh platters.
To begin their experience, guests select a pot flavor from choices like House Original Pot, The Beautiful Tomato Pot, Dragon King Seafood Pot, and House Hellishly Spicy Pot. Guests then choose from proteins and ingredients like Premium Lamb, Grilled Shrimp Skewers, and mixed mushrooms.
The Spring Mountain Road location is part of Hotai Plaza, a shopping center that houses eateries like Banh Mi Dan Han and Garionban.
